Rotary International

Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, business leaders, and problem solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

What is Rotary?

For over 100 years, Rotary has been an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards and help build goodwill and peace in the world. There are approximately 1.2 million members in over than 33,000 Rotary Clubs located in more than 166 countries.

What We Do

Local Projects

Each year we select projects to fund from the proceeds of the previous year’s Steak Cook-off fundraiser. Recipients include the Thomas S. Scoggins Memorial Scholarships, the Fairhope–Point Clear Rotary Youth Club, as well as local schools and other community organizations.

National and International Projects

Nationally and internationally, Rotarians are there when disaster strikes. From helping people get access to clean water to building schools and providing disaster relief, Rotary groups from around the world help communities get back on their feet.

Together, We End Polio

Rotary is an international community that brings together leaders who step up to take on the world’s toughest challenges whether locally, regionally, or globally. The eradication of polio is one of our longest standing and most significant efforts.
